How does it work?
First of all- your dignity is paramount and is maintained throughout the treatment. You are in charge of your actions and words all the time.
Curative hypnotherapy is not mind control, quite the opposite. You are in charge of your treatment, you will hear everything that goes on and you choose what you do and say. Hypnosis itself is a state of wakeful relaxation and all it does is to help you to find out what caused your problem or issue the first place instead of trying to control it. Once the cause of it has been found, it is easy to sort it out for you.
What to expect during therapy?
The very first thing that happens is that you are made to feel comfortable. You will be asked about your issue or problem and how it affects you personally, as similar things can affect people differently. You will be offered a taster of hypnosis experience in the first session, so you will know how it feels like.
On average, it takes about 10-15 minutes for a first-time patient to reach satisfactory level of relaxation. You will be taught how to access the pleasant sensation of relaxation and you will get free audio recordings to listen to at home.
It takes usually anything between 6 to 12 pleasant relaxing sessions to find the cause of your issue (with exception of anti-smoking, which is much quicker). Sessions usually take place twice a month so the cost will be affordably spread out.
